Administrative Management and the Achievement of Economic Objectives: Evidence from Firms in Trinidad, Beni - Bolivia

Administrative management represented a strategic factor in achieving business economic objectives, particularly in micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), where planning, organization, direction, and control were associated with organizational performance. In Trinidad, Beni, limitations persisted in the implementation of formal administrative practices, potentially affecting business profitability, growth, and sustainability. This study aimed to determine the relationship between administrative management and the achievement of the economic objectives of companies in Trinidad during 2026. A quantitative, applied, and correlational study was conducted using a nonexperimental, cross-sectional design. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire administered to a sample comprising 310 companies. Descriptive statistics and Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient were used to analyze the data. The results revealed weaknesses in administrative and financial control, reflected in the limited use of accounting records, difficulties in determining profit margins, and a low capacity to optimize costs. The inferential analysis identified a positive and significant relationship between administrative management and the achievement of economic objectives. It was concluded that both variables were associated and that stronger administrative management was related to better conditions for economic performance, competitiveness, sustainability, and growth among the companies examined in Trinidad.
