This comprehensive study thoroughly analyzes the fundamental role that various social entities play in mitigating and reducing the impacts of climate change, highlighting their remarkable capacity to actively implement and promote sustainable practices and contribute to the development of an inclusive and equitable social economy. With a comprehensive theoretical-practical approach, it is thoroughly investigated how these organizations not only generate tangible economic benefits but also significantly contribute to long-term environmental sustainability. The main purpose of this study is to carefully examine the fundamental role that various social organizations play in the transformation towards economic structures that are more environmentally friendly and sustainable over time, delving into the complex network of connections between the social economy, environmental education, and the governmental decisions made in the public sphere. The proposed methodology is based on conducting a detailed and thorough analysis of the existing literature, with the aim of identifying and deeply understanding the recurring patterns in the implementation of sustainable practices across various contexts and sectors. The results obtained in the study demonstrate conclusively that social entities not only address aspects related to the economy and society but also play a fundamental role as agents of awareness and education regarding the phenomenon of climate change, promoting social integration and strengthening community bonds. This clearly demonstrates that environmental sustainability and equity can coexist harmoniously, generating positive outcomes.
