The study was conducted within the context of the growing relevance of social enterprises in local emerging economies, where the need to balance economic sustainability and social impact has promoted the adoption of sustainable financing models. The general objective of the research was to empirically analyze the sustainable financing models used by social enterprises in current local emerging economies in order to identify their contribution to economic sustainability and social impact. The methodology followed an empirical quantitative approach, with a descriptive-correlational scope and a non-experimental cross-sectional design. Data were collected through a structured Likert-scale survey applied to 100 social enterprises, complemented by documentary review, expert judgment for content validity, and reliability analysis using Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient. The results showed that most enterprises implemented diversified and hybrid financing models, which significantly contributed to financial stability, operational self-sufficiency, and the strengthening of social impact. Additionally, a positive relationship was identified between sustainable financing and the reinvestment of surpluses in social activities. The instrument demonstrated adequate levels of validity and high reliability, supporting the robustness of the empirical findings and confirming the relevance of sustainable financing models for social enterprises in emerging local contexts.
